Redscape captures the vibrant spirit of a landscape bathed in the warm hues of sunset, where shades of red blend seamlessly to create a mesmerizing spectacle. Inspired by the majestic Madara Rocks in Bulgaria, this label is a visual and tactile journey that mirrors the layered complexity of the wine itself. Utilizing a unique label-over-label printing technique, the top layer is cut at the bottom in the shape of rocks, symbolizing both the geological beauty and the intricate craftsmanship that defines Redscape. The embossed text “PREMIUM RESERVA,” enhanced by a doming effect, adds a luxurious detail that invites exploration.

The papers for this project have been carefully selected from a range of premium, luxury materials. The base label is crafted from rich, deep black paper with a matte cotton-like texture and a slightly rough finish, adding a sense of depth and refinement. The top label, in contrast, is made from a dark gray paper with a smooth surface finish, creating a sleek and sophisticated look that complements the overall design.

At the heart of the design lies the debossed silhouette of the Madara Rocks, connecting the wine to its origins and paying homage to the land that nurtures its vines. The 2023 vintage brings together Cabernet Sauvignon, Gamza, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, and Mavrud, blending tradition with creativity to craft a wine of exceptional depth and character. Part of Simenta Winery’s Landscape Collection, Redscape is a premium product that embodies the winery’s passion for innovation and respect for the land.

When introducing the series of red wines into the Landscape Collection, we faced the challenge of finding the perfect name. Our goal was to enhance the experience for wine enthusiasts and convey the essence of this exceptional wine. We chose the name Redscape, a title that reflects the creativity and bold vision of the winemaker, while capturing the wine’s layered complexity, shaped by the unique terroir. This name tells a story, a narrative of passion, artistry, and the profound connection between nature and craftsmanship.

The visually striking capsule ensures Redscape stands out, whether at wine fairs or on the dining table, making it a true celebration of nature, craftsmanship, and timeless elegance.
