Chagual is a luxury artisanal mezcal crafted in the heart of Oaxaca’s Central Valleys, Mexico. Rooted in tradition, the brand celebrates the essence of the land and ancestral wisdom, honoring its heritage through the meticulous creation of this exquisite spirit.

In Mösnah, we were inspired by the support of the founders to disclose through the bottle an “archaeological piece”, taking advantage of the fact that the bottle is handmade piece by piece through the process of “blown glass”. On the back of the bottle there are 2 different engravings according to the edition of the agave, an interpretative illustration of “quetzatcoatl” and “el chagual”.

The name “Chagual” draws inspiration from an ancient legend of the Xochagual tribe, who revered a mysterious entity with supernatural powers, serving as a bridge between humans and the divine. This enigmatic figure embodies the connection to and reverence for nature—values Chagual passionately infuses into every bottle.

CHAGUAL MEZCAL is defined by its artisanal techniques, lovingly passed down through four generations of Master Mezcaleros, ensuring unparalleled quality and authenticity. The world has taken notice, with Chagual earning international acclaim, including a prestigious Double Gold medal and a stellar 99-point score at the 2024 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
