In the heart of Sicily, Salaparuta is a land rich in winemaking tradition, where history and terroir come together to create wines of exceptional character. “Salitano,” meaning “one who comes from Salaparuta,” reinforces the deep connection between the wine and its origins. This white wine, made from the Catarratto grape, reflects the region’s unique climate and mineral-rich soil, resulting in a fresh and complex wine with a vibrant Sicilian identity. Leonarda Tardi honors this heritage by crafting wines that capture this essence, translating it into the label design through a refined aerial representation of the land. Using bronze silk-screen printing and delicate micro-reliefs, the label highlights the warm tones of the Sicilian soil, showcasing the elegance and authenticity of this historic land.
