Hoja Sagrada Yerba Mate Tea

Hoja Sagrada is a traditional Paraguayan yerba mate tea. In the mythology of the Guarani Indians, there is a story about a girl who was turned into a tree by God so that it would preserve her beauty and bring prosperity to people. Since ancient times, the Guarani tribe drank the divine drink from the leaves of this tree in calabashes carved from a pumpkin, whose shape still retains its appearance.
