Hi estudio

Does the error cease to exist once the message is understood? According to several chronicles from the time, during the 19th and 20th centuries, pulque shifted from being a pagan drink—by order of the viceroyalty—to a social beverage easily accessible to the working class of the country.

Pulque Heras plays with the idea of error and free will, presenting the story of a fictional character whose conditions mirror those of the drink during that era.

It explores the concept of the boundaries of what is considered right and our ability to interpret and judge where the message may be ambiguous. While pulque has been freed from its pagan label, today we still question whether we are far from being truly right—or whether there is some error in what we consider to be correct.
