Moruba

Golerga is the village wine produced by Viña Zorzal Wines. This wine is made from the old Garnacha vines of Lerga village, always striving to go a little further.

The desire to step outside the comfort zone, to explore and discover new territories. The ‘Go’ word was chosen because its meaning: to go as far as necessary to find the best Grenache plots and showcase them; and ‘Lerga’: the perfect place to find them.

We know Viña Zorzal winery very well; we have worked together on many projects, and we know that when they embark on a new one, they have to explore and they are capable of going very far, so far that the earth is not a physical limit: they can reach another galaxy if necessary. That is the idea, this visual hyperbole where Zorzal bird travels through space looking for new plots to make exciting wines.

The client’s philosophy is to generate design proposals that transcend trends and fashions: unique and timeless, that define the uniqueness of wine in a memorable way, generating curiosity and demonstrating that following your own path is always the best way to go far.

We firmly believe in this philosophy, which is why the visual key to this project, would be this: the Viña Zorzal wine range is well-known by a graphic element inside the silhouette of the bird that summarises the concept of each wine; in this case, stepping outside your comfort zone. What happens is not inside the bird, it happens outside its silhouette: it is outer space, literally.

The desire to discover, non-conformity and curiosity are shared values reflected in this project.
