Luxury GCC Perfume Boxes

This collection of luxury rigid boxes was created for a GCC perfume line produced by Shabouk, a UAE-based manufacturer of premium packaging for fragrance and gifts.

The brief was to design a box that feels like a couture accessory rather than simple perfume packaging. The structure is a rigid shoulder box with a magnetic closure and a custom insert to hold the bottle securely in place, giving the unboxing moment the same tension and release as opening a jewellery case. Edges are kept sharp and minimal so the volume feels architectural and substantial in the hand.

The visual language takes inspiration from high-end fashion details often seen in Gulf wardrobes: deep, saturated colour, warm metallic accents and precise embossing. Foil stamping and blind emboss are used to draw a thin frame around the top panel and highlight the brand mark, while the rest of the surface is left clean to let the paper texture speak. The result is a box that can sit confidently on a dresser or in a retail display without needing heavy graphics or illustration.

These boxes are designed for regional perfume houses in the GCC, with sizes that can be adapted to different bottle silhouettes and gift sets, making the system flexible for launches in markets such as the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Oman while keeping a consistent luxury look.
