Lukoshko — Berry Sauces from Hand-Picked Farm Berries
Lukoshko is a line of premium berry sauces made from hand-picked, farm-grown berries. Crafted using homemade recipes, these sauces are designed to elevate familiar dishes, making them warmer, more comforting, and unexpectedly refined.
Have you ever tried fish with white currant sauce, or meat with gooseberry sauce? Lukoshko offers the taste of a countryside garden — without sacrificing elegance.
Idea
How can packaging for berry sauces be made truly distinctive?
The concept was inspired by personal experience and observation. When picking berries in my own garden, I always collect them in a basket. It feels more aesthetic, more authentic, and instantly conveys the atmosphere of rural life. The basket became a natural symbol of care, craftsmanship, and connection to nature — and the foundation of the visual concept.
Execution
The natural composition of the sauces and the careful, hand-picked harvesting process are emphasized through packaging designed in the form of a harvest basket.
To underline the premium positioning of the brand, the packaging is made of glass, while the woven basket texture is translated into a three-dimensional, tactile surface. This adds depth, enhances the sensory experience, and reinforces the feeling of a thoughtfully crafted, high-quality product.
Prototyping
The first step in developing the packaging for the berry sauces was prototyping. Inspired by the form and texture of a woven basket, an initial draft model was sculpted from clay. This early prototype later evolved into the final design, gaining not only a refined texture but also softer, more rounded, and friendly shapes.
