Fayi Blue – Knight’s Alliance

In 15th-century Italy, a guard named Hoffman stored his homemade wine in wooden barrels. One year, war broke out, and in haste he hid the barrels in a cellar. Tragically, he was killed in battle, and the barrels were forgotten.

Ten years later, someone accidentally discovered the wine in the cellar. After years of aging, much of the liquid had evaporated, leaving only about half the original volume. The remaining wine had turned a golden hue and released a rich, mellow aroma. In memory of the fallen guard, people named this spirit “Brandy,” meaning “the water of life.”

Heritage lives on at the Eduardo D’Or Winery. Since 1858, Mr. Edward D’Or, a descendant of a French cognac family, began carefully collecting and aging the finest eaux-de-vie—known as the “water of life.” To this day, the century-old cellars preserve a remarkable collection of top-tier eaux-de-vie in diverse styles, each exuding captivating aromas that evoke a sense of paradise.

For nearly 200 years, generations of the Eduardo D’Or family have upheld the founder’s spirit of inspiration, independence, and innovation, along with a relentless pursuit of perfection. Their winemaking philosophy—“tradition and innovation, striving for excellence, refining life into art”—has shaped their legacy. With unwavering dedication to superior taste, quality, and integrity, Eduardo D’Or of France has earned enduring respect and prestige.
