Nutkin is a hot chocolate brand inspired by warmth, nostalgia, and the quiet charm of woodland life. The idea for this brand grew from my deep love for animals, especially squirrels, and my lifelong affection for hot chocolate.

Since childhood, I have loved watching squirrels and observing how they gather and carefully store nuts. There is something incredibly charming about their small, busy lives. Their behavior feels thoughtful and cozy, almost as if they are quietly preparing for little moments of comfort.

I also grew up reading beautifully illustrated children’s storybooks where animals lived gentle, human-like lives, cooking meals, sharing food, and enjoying warm drinks inside tiny woodland homes. Those magical worlds left a lasting impression on my imagination and still bring a sense of comfort today.

Nutkin was born from this feeling. I wanted to create a hot chocolate brand that combines my love for squirrels, their nut gathering nature, and my nostalgia for illustrated storybooks.

The packaging feels like a small scene from a storybook. At the center is a friendly squirrel character representing this cozy woodland world. Just as squirrels gather nuts from nature, Nutkin gathers the warmth of cocoa from the forest.

The packaging uses soft illustrations, earthy colors, and delicate storybook style details to create a feeling of comfort and familiarity. Each flavor feels like a small moment from a woodland tale, inviting people to pause, slow down, and enjoy a warm cup of cocoa.

The goal of this design is simple. When someone sees Nutkin on a store shelf, it should bring a small smile to their face and remind them of cozy winter evenings, childhood stories, and the quiet magic of nature.
