Sidi Bou Saïd: An Olfactory Escape Concept Art & Packaging Design
The Concept: This project is a poetic exploration where architecture and product become one. The central idea is to transform the packaging into an extension of the city itself. Inspired by the blue and white streets of Sidi Bou Saïd, each box becomes a fragment of this mythical village, creating an immersive experience from the very first glance.
Visual Identity Mediterranean Minimalism: Using the immaculate white of limewashed walls for the main volumes, contrasted by the deep azure blue of the vaulted windows and doors.
Geometric Structure: The bottles are nested within traditional arches, playing with solids and voids to recall the village’s rugged topography. Symbolic Elements: The integration of stylized micro-olive trees adds an organic touch and recalls Tunisian heritage in a contemporary style.
User Experience (Unboxing): The goal is to offer more than just a simple perfume. By assembling the different boxes, one can reconstruct a true little Mediterranean city on their shelf. The packaging then becomes a decorative object, a piece of a collection that extends the sensory journey.
