这套完整的包装解决方案是为百胜康西洋参茶多酚胶囊开发的，该产品是中科乐祥旗下京之源系列的一款植物提取保健品。该项目提供全周期服务：视觉识别设计、包装盒结构开发、材料选择、印刷工艺控制、样品打样和批量生产指导。

该包装适用于包括线下超市、电商平台和私人领域零售在内的多渠道销售场景，涵盖单盒、组合套装和礼盒。我们采用了极简科技+自然简约的美学设计，契合品牌的科研定位。标准化的包装盒模板可重复用于后续的新型保健食品，大幅降低品牌迭代开发和生产成本。该包装系统适用于植物提取物胶囊、片剂、日常膳食补充剂、科研联名保健食品外包装以及轻奢固体口服产品礼盒。

设计策略与视觉语言

We abandoned the complicated realistic illustration style commonly seen in domestic health food packaging and built a professional, trustworthy brand image through restrained visual logic:

Color Palette: Low-saturation cool neutral tones with weak contrast, removing bright gaudy colors to create pure, scientific temperament. Graphic Elements: Simple linear symbols, geometric outlines and simplified capsule silhouettes as minor decorations; the white space proportion of small capsule boxes is no less than 30% to avoid crowded information layout. Typography System: Only two font families are used for the whole package. Bold sans-serif fonts for brand and product titles; regular sans-serif fonts for regulatory text. Unified kerning and sizing standards are formulated for three levels of text. Hierarchy Layout: Place brand LOGO and product name at the core visual position; put legal warning text and product specifications at the secondary visual area of the bottom or side to keep the overall picture clean.

Box Structure & Engineering

Standard two-piece heaven and earth cover box is selected for stable mass production performance:

Simplified structure: No special-shaped die-cutting or complex folding structures, simple die-cut drawings, low mass production rejection rate. Opening and closing experience: Moderate tightness of the box, compatible with automatic carton filling production lines. Dimension logic: The outer box size is determined according to the size of capsule plates and PP blister inserts (inside-out design logic), which effectively avoids repeated revision after design completion.

3-Layer Mass-Production Material System

Outer Main Box: 250gsm high-stiff matte coated art card

Flat surface, three-dimensional folding edges, matte fingerprint-resistant surface with excellent shelf display effect.

Optional upgraded version: 270gsm imported matte art card (high-end positioning);

Cost-effective mass market version: 230gsm ordinary white card.

Gloss coated art card is not recommended because strong reflection will damage minimalist tech style and reduce the recognition of LOGO and text.

Inner Insert: Food-grade white PP blister tray

Comply with food contact safety standards, firm capsule clamping positions without burrs, low transparency to avoid grabbing the visual focus of the outer box, low mass production cost and convenient product access.

Optional Belly Band/Sleeve: 210gsm matte white card

Light and thin without increasing the overall volume of packaging, used for displaying brand LOGO and auxiliary graphics to realize series product visual extension.

Printing & Finishing Craft

Core composite craft: Full matte lamination + 4-color offset lithography + partial matte silver foil stamping, balancing texture, cost and finished product yield.

Full matte film lamination: Uniform fog surface texture, accurate color reproduction, scratch-resistant for transportation and daily use.

Disadvantages: The film layer is easy to lift at tiny folded edges; the saturation of large dark color blocks will be slightly reduced.

CMYK 4-color offset printing: Sharp edges of text and lines, stable color difference in mass production, fast delivery and high cost performance.

Disadvantages: Unable to realize gradient holography and ultra-fine texture effects, and ultra-fine lines are prone to dot loss.

Partial matte silver foil stamping (LOGO and brand symbol area): Low-key metallic texture naturally integrated with matte box surface, low cost to improve packaging hierarchy.

Disadvantages: Thin lines are easy to break during stamping; full-surface silver stamping will increase costs and cause indentation.

Crafts eliminated after prototype test:

UV gloss coating: The bright surface conflicts with the overall matte style, local UV will form uneven concave-convex surface, affecting hand feel. Emboss/deboss: The visual effect is weak on small packaging boxes, and the die-cut rejection rate increases. Textured lamination: The texture will cover text information, which does not conform to the minimalist layout logic.

Mass Production Risk Control Guide

Summarized five common mass production problems and standardized solutions from sampling to bulk production:

Box deformation caused by insufficient paper stiffness: Unify 250gsm high-stiff matte white card to prevent sagging during stacking and transportation. Uneven fog color of full dark background after lamination: Complete full-tone test printing in advance to calibrate ink concentration before mass lamination. Position deviation of partial matte silver stamping: Control the stamping position error within 0.3mm, widen thin lines and small characters in advance. Mismatch between blister insert and outer box: The length and width of the inner tray are 1–1.5mm smaller than the inner net size of the outer box to reserve assembly gap and avoid product shaking during transportation. Blurry small regulatory text after lamination: The font size of all explanatory text shall not be less than 7pt; replace thin lightweight fonts with regular sans-serif fonts.

Core production principle: Reduce redundant crafts, focus on high precision, and control rejection rate and overall production cost.

CMYK color standard chart for 250gsm matte card with matte lamination; Standard die-cut drawing of heaven and earth cover box with bleeding, die-cut line and glue flap marks; Alignment reference drawing of partial matte silver stamping and optimization scheme for thin stamping strokes; Size matching data sheet of blister inserts and outer boxes (assembly gap and card position standard parameters); Global font specification, unified size and letter spacing standards for three levels of text.
