Maison Brana

2S Global Design

A complete redesign of the visual identity and packaging for Maison Brana, a family-owned Basque house renowned for its wines and spirits. Since 2023, the house has joined Maisons & Manufactures, opening a new chapter in its development while honoring its heritage, craftsmanship and Basque roots.

Our mission: to evolve the brand’s identity without breaking from its history, creating a shared visual language across its wines and spirits while giving each range its own expression.

The Basque heritage becomes raw material for creation. Carved lintels, traditional textiles, engravings and symbols are reinterpreted to compose a contemporary identity, deeply rooted in the territory. The logotype was entirely custom-drawn, inspired by traditional Basque lettering, with an emblematic “A” affirming its Basque origin. The emblem reinterprets the Basque cross in a construction unique to Brana.

The Pastis with Espelette pepper, the white Vermouth and the red Vermouth inaugurate the new world of Brana aperitifs. Inspired by striped Basque fabrics, their packaging shares a common structure, while colors, patterns and ingredients give each reference its own personality.
