Moody – Modeling and Sewing kit

MOODY is an intuitive modeling and sewing kit designed specifically for fashion design students. While wooden articulated mannequins are traditionally treated as basic anatomy aids for drawing, MOODY repositions this tool as an essential, portable modeling instrument for quick creative ideas.

SOLUTION

To address the need for a practical, portable and all-in-one solution without risking safety or fear of losing small tools like needles, I developed a packaging using a serial plane system crafted from cardboard. This layout creates custom depth layers to safely hold precise tools—including the mannequin, threads, snips, and needles—while incorporating an inspired Art Deco design and ergonomic handle.

RESULT

The final design merges minimal graphics with high-functionality structural design. By turning a standard and generic art mannequin into a premium-fashion kit. MOODY delivers an elegant, highly tactile experience tailored for the modern creator.
