MOON — Art Born from Nature: Identity & Packaging

The creation and launch of MOON became much more than a design project for me — it became a personal story. This brand brings together my values, my appreciation for natural minerals, my interest in cultural meaning, and my desire to create objects with character.

MOON reflects my journey as a designer, a researcher, and as a person. It is a project about the beauty of nature, the power of individuality, and attention to detail. A brand where every form, material, and design decision carries personal meaning.

MOON is a handcrafted belt brand inspired by the idea of a personal companion.

The concept is rooted in the relationship between the Earth and the Moon. Just as the Moon remains Earth’s eternal companion, a MOON belt becomes a daily companion to its owner — an object that reflects individuality through form, material, and detail.

At the center of every piece is a natural mineral. Each stone possesses its own texture, color, and character, making every design truly one of a kind. The uniqueness of the mineral serves as the starting point for the entire design process.

The visual identity is built around the phenomenon of a lunar eclipse — a rare moment when light, shadow, and form create a perfect balance. This idea informed the logo, graphic language, and packaging system.

The packaging extends the core concept of the brand. A circular opening and a sliding lid recreate the interaction of light and shadow during an eclipse, transforming the unboxing experience into a continuation of the brand story. The mineral becomes the visual focal point, gradually revealed as the package opens.

Each belt is handcrafted from natural leather and sterling silver. An interchangeable buckle system allows owners to build their own collection of minerals and combine them with different belts.

MOON brings together the beauty of natural minerals, jewelry craftsmanship, and product design, transforming a belt into a collectible design object.
