Siwa Oasis Packaging

Concept:

Siwa Oasis is a packaging design project from my creation, inspired by the rich cultural heritage and natural resources of Siwa Oasis, located in Egypt’s Western Desert near the Libyan border. Siwa is famous for its high-quality dates, olives, olive oil, almond oil, and other organic products.

This project aimed to create a cohesive packaging system that reflects the identity of Siwa while presenting its products in a modern and premium way. The visual identity incorporates traditional Siwan motifs and geometric patterns, inspired by the region’s architecture, textiles, and Amazigh (Berber) cultural heritage. These decorative elements celebrate Siwa’s unique history and create a strong connection between the products and their place of origin.

A natural colour palette, clean typography, and minimal layouts were carefully chosen to highlight the purity and organic quality of the products. Each package is designed to communicate authenticity while maintaining a contemporary aesthetic suitable for today’s market.

This project combines cultural storytelling with functional packaging design, transforming everyday products into a visual experience that honours the traditions and beauty of Siwa Oasis.
