Fraghill | Fragrance Packaging Design

ABOUT
Fraghill is an Indian fragrance startup built around an unconventional product concept: a single device designed to hold three perfume vials. The founders approached me to create a brand identity and packaging direction that could capture the duality they wanted for the brand: luxurious and elevated, yet playful, colorful, and distinctly modern.

CONCEPT
The packaging was designed around the idea of fragrance as something fluid, sensory, and constantly shifting. Rather than relying on the darker palettes and traditional visual codes often associated with luxury fragrance, I developed a system of luminous gradients, minimal typography, and unexpected forms. Gradients became the connective tissue of the identity. They gave individual fragrances their own visual character while allowing every package to remain part of the same family. The result is a flexible system that can evolve as the fragrance collection expands.

SOLUTION
The packaging explores different forms, including circular and triangular structures, while maintaining a consistent visual language through typography, color, and composition. Iridescent surfaces and shifting gradients reinforce the futuristic character of the product, while restrained layouts keep the overall expression refined. The system was designed alongside the broader brand identity rather than as an isolated packaging exercise. The same principles extend into Fraghill’s digital experience, allowing the physical and digital expressions of the brand to feel connected without simply replicating one another.

RESULT
The final direction gives Fraghill a recognizable visual world that reflects the unusual nature of the product itself. The combination of unconventional forms, evolving gradients, and minimal typography creates packaging that feels contemporary and expressive while retaining the sense of luxury expected within the fragrance category. More importantly, the system gives the brand room to grow. New fragrances can develop their own personalities through color while remaining unmistakably part of Fraghill.
