The concept of a hand-crafted monolithic silicon case created for a grand complication luxury chronograph.

PACKAGING PHILOSOPHY AND TEXTURES
The packaging for the “KREMEN” (The Flint) series is an artistic exploration at the intersection of natural monumentality and minimalist design. The visual language of the project is built on restraint, clean lines, and deep respect for the material. The protective case is crafted entirely from a single ingot of monocrystalline silicon. The strict, heavy geometry of the mirror-black body creates a soft, captivating contrast with the interior of the case, which is lined with deep scarlet velvet. Thanks to this design solution, the unboxing process transforms into a private tactile ritual, highlighting the premium status of the artifact hidden within.

TRADITIONS OF HAND CRAFTSMANSHIP

• Transforming a temperamental and hard crystalline mineral into a flawless glossy case requires meticulous manual labor and jewelry-level precision:
• Diamond Cutting: From a solid grown ingot of pure silicon, craftsmen manually use ultra-thin diamond-coated discs to form plates for the future case, preserving the natural structural integrity.
• Ultrasonic Fitting: To eliminate the slightest imperfections and microscopic chips on the fragile joints, the corners and edges are finished by hand using ultrasonic machines, ensuring a surgically precise, silent fit of the lid.
• Chemical-Mechanical Nano-Polishing: To achieve a mesmerizing “liquid” black gloss effect, the surface is polished by hand for hours with diamond nano-pastes. This technology levels the texture at the atomic level, turning the silicon into a deep dark mirror resistant to external influences.

OPTICAL FOCUS OF THE TIMEPIECE
The architecture of the case is tailored specifically to house the premium “KREMEN” chronograph featuring a flying tourbillon. The central feature of the watch is an adaptive photochromic sapphire lens that automatically darkens under sunlight to an emerald hue to protect against blinding reflections. When moving into shadows, an integrated mechanical system allows the lens to be forcefully returned to absolute transparency in a hundredth of a second with a single press of a button on the case.
