BLACK POWDER | Coffee packaging

Black Powder is a concept for premium capsule coffee packaging, inspired by the shape of a revolver’s cylinder

The visual metaphor is built around the idea of a powerful, precise, and instantaneous coffee charge: each capsule looks like a brass sleeve, neatly placed in a separate chamber of a black cylindrical case. The packaging body is made in a deep matte black color with a soft texture that resembles processed metal. The wavy external contour follows the silhouette of a revolver drum, but remains substantive and elegant, without any overt aggressiveness.

Inside, there are six golden coffee capsules with a radial metal finish that creates a sense of precision, collectibility, and premium industrial design. The lid, featuring the same embossed contour, functions as an independent visual element: when closed, the packaging looks concise and mysterious, and when opened, it reveals a “loaded” set of capsules and a small amount of sugar in the center of the “drum.”
