Coca-Cola Prebiotic Sodas

Coca-Cola Prebiotic Sodas

Analoguecreative

Coca-Cola came to us to create a new range of drinks stretching across three much-loved brands: Coca-Cola, Sprite and Fresca. We tapped into the playful, flavourful world of prebiotics, learning from the category before creating an ownable illustration style that feels contemporary, fresh and full of flavour. The ambition was simple: make fibre feel exciting, not functional.

The challenge was building one design system that could flex across three distinctive brands, each with its own colour palette, personality and visual language.

We created a new Prebiotics sub-brand that works alongside the existing identities while standing out on shelf and leaning into the category. A geometric illustration style, playful paths and a clear icon system bring the benefits of fiber and gut health to life, while creating a cohesive visual language across the range.

Most importantly, the design needed to reassure people that adding prebiotics hadn’t compromised the taste they already love. It’s still Coca-Cola, Sprite and Fresca, just with 6g of fiber and a refreshing new reason to reach for them. The result is a light, distinctive and flexible system that gives these iconic brands a credible place in the prebiotic category, built to feel like they belong, there for the long haul.

Curator’s Insight

The challenge with adding a functional claim to long-established brands is making it feel native rather than stuck on. Here, the claim gets its own consistent set of parts: a black roundel badge, a chunky “Prebiotic” wordmark and a small sparkle motif, repeated in the same position on each can. The flat, graphic illustrations (a lime wedge, a striped-straw glass, a grapefruit half) add a playful layer that contrasts with the heavy, cropped logotypes and the glossy condensation rendering. Legacy brands keep their recognisable colours while the new system does the work of connecting them.
