Ophellia’s label draws inspiration from Greece and the defining elements of its landscape. Mountains & Sea come together in the design, just as they meet in so many places of the country. The sun & traditional architecture complete the scene, capturing the distinctive character of Greece.
The small village depicted on the label sympolizes our roots. It evokes the communities of rural Greece, where a connection to the land, care for the harvest, and the craft of food production are passed down from generation to generation. These Communities are home to the people and traditions that have shaped the identity of Greek olive oil ad our traditional products.
The olive branch & olive trees express Greece’s enduring bond with the olive tree & connect the design to Crete, the home of our olive oil. Both production and bottling take place on the island, preserving a direct connection between our product and the land it comes from.
The design is a tribute to the value of tradition and the quality of Greek produce. It evokes nostalgia for the simplicity and care of an earlier time, bringing a sense of familiarity and the trust we associate with traditional products. Through clean lines and a contemporary aesthetic, this heritage finds its expression in the present.
