Blender Bites

Packaging, Branding & Marketing Design

Situation
Blender Bites needed to reposition its superfood smoothie cubes as a one-step convenience solution for busy, health-conscious consumers. Its generic freezer-aisle packaging failed to communicate the “real ingredients, no fuss, all nutrition” promise, and in a crowded retail category it needed packaging that stood out on shelf and protected the product. The brand also needed charts and brochures that helped consumers understand key product information, social content that stood out in crowded feeds, and product mock-ups for e-commerce and marketing without the cost and time of photo studio sessions.

Solution
Working from the brand’s existing logo and identity, I led a comprehensive omni-channel branding and marketing effort built around a visual refresh of the packaging system. I owned the work from research through production, and as the guardian of the brand identity, I kept every touchpoint under one cohesive visual system.

Execution
For the packaging, I redesigned the primary packaging with vibrant, clean aesthetics, eye-catching product photography, clear ingredient callouts, and strong typography aimed at health-conscious consumers. For the custom stand-up Mylar bags, I researched barrier properties, material specifications, consumer handling, and competitive packaging trends, then developed rapid concepts and precise die-lines through to production-ready artwork. I chose materials for moisture, oxygen, and light protection to preserve the contents longer, and I managed stakeholder presentations, mock-ups, and file preparation to keep the project on-brief and on schedule. I also designed freezer-durable PDQ display boxes with vibrant colours and high-resolution fruit imagery, delivering 3D mock-ups for stakeholder review and final print-ready files. I extended the system across hangtags, shelf talkers, and secondary labels.
