ALEKO is an Art Toy line committed to the celebration of Mexican culture, creating a sense of nostalgia and belonging for young adult audiences.

ALEKO’s “Onyx” figure is inspired by alebrijes. Alebrijes are brightly colored Mexican folk art sculptures of fantastical creatures. They are typically made from paper-mâché, carved wood, or a combination of both, and are often decorated with intricate patterns and designs. Ultimately, they are representative of Mexico’s rich artistic traditions.
