Orkeny’s One Minute Stories book

My book cover design has been created for Istvan Orkeny’s One Minute Stories book, more specifically for the Message in the Bottle short story. I tried to reflect the grotesqueness of these stories in my illustration. The drowning man with the sailer hat, whose message we can read in the short story, is grotesquely depicted as a frog struggling in a wash basin.
