THETA is a Greek yogurt inspired by the Olympian gods and a modern reinterpretation of the aesthetics of ancient Greek mythology.

The brand is built on the subtle connection between ancient Greek mythology and the flavors inspired by its gods. The name THETA refers to the eighth letter of the Greek alphabet—a symbol of divinity, harmony, and perfection. Its soft sound reflects the very nature of the product: a smooth, airy, and creamy Greek yogurt that blends tradition with a modern approach to design and gastronomy.

Each flavor is an interpretation of one of the Olympian gods, and the packaging illustrations reveal their character and symbolism. Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty, is associated with strawberries—juicy, sweet, and tender, embodying romance and sensuality. Dionysus, the god of wine, celebration, and abundance, is represented by grapes—a symbol of rich flavor, nature’s generosity, and the enjoyment of life. Zeus, the supreme god of Olympus, is depicted in combination with honey—a traditional ancient Greek product symbolizing strength, nobility, and majesty.

A distinctive detail of the brand identity is the gods’ garments, crafted from Greek yogurt. The pliable folds are reminiscent of the flowing fabric of ancient chitons, but instead of the traditional textile, they are formed by the product’s thick, creamy texture. This artistic approach makes the yogurt the central element of the visual image, emphasizing its naturalness, tenderness, and rich, creamy consistency. This makes the characters themselves seem part of the product, and the product itself, part of the mythological story.

The illustrations are executed in a contemporary style, combining classical antique motifs with laconic graphics. This approach preserves the recognizable images of mythological characters, making them relevant and appealing to modern consumers. As a result, each package becomes not only a vehicle of flavor but also part of a visual story, where ancient myths are reinterpreted in a new way.
