Eclst Patches

Éclat Patches is a Jaipur, India-based brand creating hand-beaded and hand-embroidered decorative patches — reusable, swappable pieces worn on bags, jackets, kurtas, potlis, and cushions, sold both direct-to-consumer and to fashion/export wholesale buyers in India, the UK, and the US.

We’re looking for packaging concepts for a small, delicate, textured product (patches range roughly 2–4 inches, with raised beadwork, pearls, and metallic thread that must not be crushed or flattened in transit or on a shelf). The packaging needs to do three things: protect the raised beadwork during shipping, feel premium enough to justify a considered/gifted purchase (not a mass-market trims accessory), and work equally well as a single-unit retail box and as a stackable bulk/wholesale shipping format for B2B buyers.

Brand identity: deep forest green, gold, and ivory — editorial and premium, never neon or cartoonish. Brand values center on “handcrafted,” “reusable,” “swap,” and “Jaipur-made” — so packaging that visually reinforces reuse/keepsake value (rather than disposable retail packaging) is especially relevant.

We’re interested in unconventional structures — drawstring pouches, book-fold boxes, rigid pull-out trays, or anything that lets the patch’s texture be seen/felt before opening — rather than a standard flat cardboard box. Budget-appropriate for a small handcrafted brand’s Month 1–3 production run, with room to scale to bulk wholesale packaging later.
