Three flowers. Three places. One journey.

THEORA is a luxury chocolate house born from the meeting of Swiss craftsmanship and Arab storytelling. The brand turns cultural heritage, botanical traditions, and memories of place into collectible chocolate experiences. Rather than treating Arab culture as an aesthetic, THEORA explores the stories behind each destination and translates them into visual and sensory experiences.

The Barn Swallow is the traveling character of THEORA. As a migratory bird, it represents movement, discovery, and the connection between distant places. At every destination, the swallow meets a native bird, the Keeper, who introduces it to the flower and story of that place. The swallow then carries each story to the next chapter, creating a continuous journey across the THEORA world.

Before Sunrise is the first THEORA collection, exploring the quiet hours before sunrise, when flowers are traditionally harvested at their most fragrant. The journey connects three Arab destinations through three flowers: Egyptian Jasmine from Shubra Beloula, Egypt, Taif Rose from Taif, Saudi Arabia, and Orange Blossom from Jaffa, Palestine.

The first chapter begins in Shubra Beloula, Egypt, known for its jasmine cultivation. Jasmine is traditionally harvested in the early morning, when its fragrance is strongest, before being transformed into precious fragrance ingredients. The Graceful Prinia becomes the Keeper of this chapter, representing the landscape and story of Egyptian jasmine.

The second chapter travels to Taif, Saudi Arabia. The famous Taif Damask Rose blooms for a short season and is traditionally harvested in the early hours, before being transformed into rose water and rose oil. The White eared Bulbul becomes the Keeper of this story, connecting the flower with the landscape and traditions of Taif.

The final chapter takes us to Jaffa, Palestine. Orange blossom carries the memory of Jaffa’s orange groves and its Mediterranean landscape. The White-spectacled Bulbul becomes the Keeper of this chapter, while the artwork captures the flower and its connection to place, cultivation, and memory.

The flowers are not only part of the visual language. They become part of the chocolate experience itself. Jasmine, Taif rose, and orange blossom translate the identity of each destination from something seen into something tasted, allowing the story of each place to continue beyond the packaging.

The result is a collection where every box has its own identity while remaining part of the same visual world. The botanical artwork turns each package into a collectible piece rather than simply a chocolate box, while the recurring characters create a visual connection between the three chapters.

The Master Box brings the three chapters together. The three Keepers appear within one connected botanical composition, while the Barn Swallow carries the collected stories forward. The branches connect the three environments and create one continuous landscape, bringing the collection together as a single journey.

Before Sunrise establishes a storytelling system that can continue to grow with THEORA. New destinations can introduce new flowers, stories, and Keepers, while the Barn Swallow continues to connect them, allowing THEORA to build an expanding world through chocolate, packaging, and storytelling.
