Dream Hill is built on a simple yet enduring truth: every great thing begins as a dream.
The name is not a metaphor. It is a memory.
In 2021, Subh’s father sat on a barren hill in Koraput, Odisha — land that had never grown anything, surrounded by silence and untouched earth. He looked at those empty hills and did not see what was there. He saw what could be. He dreamed of coffee plants taking root in that red laterite soil, of a harvest that would take years to come, of something meaningful growing from nothing. That dream became Dream Hill Coffee.
Koraput is one of India’s least known and most extraordinary places. Tucked into the Eastern Ghats of Odisha, its forests are dense, its soil is ancient, and its tribal farming communities have worked the land for generations. At 900 metres above sea level, where the air is cool and the mist settles over the hills before dawn, the conditions for exceptional coffee exist quietly — waiting to be found. Dream Hill found them.
At Dream Hill, coffee is a record of a place. Every cup carries the specific character of Koraput’s altitude, its soil, its seasons, and the hands that grew and harvested it. The tasting notes — wild berry, dark honey, cedar smoke, jasmine — are not invented. They are what this particular land, in this particular season, produces.
We believe that single origin coffee done honestly is one of the most direct connections a person can have to a place they have never been. It is geography made drinkable.
The brand is named for the hill where the dream began. The logo carries the image of that hill — a single continuous line, a dot at the peak, three lines rising. A man.
