ABOUT
PH 4.1 is an artisanal bakery based in Velo Veronese, in the Lessinia mountains of northern Italy. The project started from the desire to create a visual identity for their traditional Christmas bakery products, including Panettone and Nadalin, while expressing their strong connection with the local territory.
The challenge was to find a visual language that could communicate craftsmanship and authenticity without relying on the usual visual codes associated with traditional Italian bakery products.
SOLUTION
The identity is built around a simple and distinctive graphic system inspired by the landscape and character of Lessinia.
The packaging uses a series of illustrated labels and seals, each designed to give the different products their own personality while keeping the collection visually coherent. Bold typography, simplified illustrations and tactile graphic elements create a balance between a contemporary visual approach and the warmth of an artisanal product.
The illustrations reference the natural environment and the mountain landscape surrounding the bakery, turning the packaging into a visual expression of its place of origin.
RESULT
The result is a packaging system that gives PH 4.1 a recognizable identity while highlighting the relationship between the product, its craftsmanship and its territory.
Rather than presenting the Panettone and Nadalin simply as traditional Christmas products, the packaging makes their local origin and artisanal character an essential part of the experience.
