Alquimista del Istmo

“Alquimista del Istmo” is a premium extra-aged Panamanian rum, carefully matured for fourteen years in the tropics. Originating from the fertile lands of the Chiriquí province, on the slopes of the Barú Volcano, this spirit is crafted from single-estate sugar cane. The process pays homage to traditional methods: distillation in copper pot stills and static aging in American white oak barrels, culminating with a finish in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. It is a product aimed at collectors and demanding palates seeking not just a high-end spirit, but a bottled treasure.

The central concept is “Earthly Mysticism”, built around the storytelling of “The Found Quintessence”. The visual narrative imagines an enigmatic 18th-century alchemist who, taking refuge in the untamed Panamanian jungle, dedicated his life to studying the local flora and perfecting the formula to encapsulate time in a spirit.
