Brief:

The brand Legendary (M) Perfume invites students to reimagine perfume packaging as an immersive cultural experience that inspired by one iconic Malaysian myth.

Rationale:

This packaging design is inspired by the famous Malay myth of Puteri Gunung Ledang (Princess of Mountain Ledang), a figure admired not only for her beauty but also for her wisdom. Often regarded as the living essence of the mountain itself, which represents strength and clarity above worldly expectations and desires.

The gift set was created to capture her intelligence and independance, then translate them into a meaningful experience beyond fragrance alone. The design aims to embody the calmness and thoughtfulness associated with the noble princess.

To reflect this essence, the main feature of the packaging incorporates an aroma stone diffuser and a night lamp, giving it a purpose beyond the unboxing experience of the perfume and soap bar to make it a gift set. Together, these elements create a soothing environment that encourages relaxation and reflection, echoing the enduring wisdom of the princess herself.
