The wine produced by Il Balzo winery, in the Rufina area, has two souls. They are the ones of Paolo Ponticelli, the strong and rough one of a woodcutter, and the passionate and experimental one of the winemaker. Wood and wine, two living materials strictly bound to one another, integrate into a perfect osmosis. They are directed by a great master, the weather. In this way the last creation of Il Balzo, Addiaccio wine, is born. Born from a hail, it has won every challenge, becoming a strong and particular wine, the son of wind and passion.
