Dolce Amaro (sweet and bitter) is a Photography project’s made by Emanuele Nutile. The story tells us about Francesca and Felice grow up in the suburbs of Naples and work in the field. In 2010, a stroke strikes Felice to a wheelchair, forcing Francesca to take care of him and the incessant tasks of the campaign, the only source of livelihood. Despite the difficulties in communicating with each other and the hard daily life, they are used to smiling at life. Dolce Amaro, wants to tell us about this love and the ability to find the sweet side in a sometimes bitter existence. The book was born with the aim of divulging a story of other times and tell us the infinite humanity of human behavior.

What’s Unique?
The realization of the book and pack are done in the traditional way as the farmers work the field. The materials chosen are raw materials to evoke the countryside.
