Cold Brew Coffee is one type of coffee drink that is less popular in Surabaya, Indonesia. Many coffee drinkers are less interested in this coffee drink. One of the reasons is a lack of communication about this drink. This is one of the biggest challenges in selling cold brew coffee in Indonesia. Given that the coffee shop itself was only popular in Indonesia in the early 2012’s.

SOLUTION
One of the effective solutions to attract potential consumers to cold brew coffee is to increase the attractiveness of the design. We make designs so that first-time consumers are interested in trying to buy and enjoy cold brew coffee. This is one way to let people know the uniqueness of cold brew coffee.

This cold brew coffee packaging label design is certainly different from other cold brew designs. It has to be vibrant, interesting, and unique. With the rise of minimalist designs on the market, it will be difficult for a brand to stand out in the market, let alone get noticed by customers. Therefore, we tried to combine something abstract but simple.

The taste of cold brew coffee is UNIQUE and ABSTRACT. This is different from the taste of regular coffee. From there we chose a design with an abstract watercolor painting as the basis for the design on the packaging label. We want our customers to experience the design when they see the packaging of this cold brew on the display of our partner Origio coffee shops. Where this water coloring element will also be applied to all elements of brand identity and visual communication channels.

Each cold brew coffee flavor variant has its own distinctive taste. We designed 4 watercolor paintings to represent that taste.

Launched offline in September 2020 by clients, Origio has received great responses from customers. So that in 2021 Origio will be launched online.

What’s Unique?
The unique taste of cold brewed coffee is reflected in the watercolor painting. This is to provide a differentiating value where there are crowded minimalist designs on the market.
