Tornado started out as a provider of rainwater-based car cleaning products. Now, they’re a car wash that also sells sandwiches. The randomness of these two concepts in one place makes for an excellent match to create a fun, fresh, and dynamic identity that doesn’t take itself very seriously.
Branding’s main inspiration was the name of the project. To give a sensation of movement, we altered the morphology of the wordmark by modifying its traditional reading. In the Tornado, typography changes, colors contrast and different businesses are mixed.
We made a series of representative illustrations of Tornado universe and use them at random, keeping the identity in constant motion. After all, while you’re in a Tornado, nothing stays in its place.
