“Ouch!” Band-aids is a quick fix for any kind of small injury. When something – a cut, a burn or some other wound – happens at home you don’t need to think twice to reach for a band-aid. That’s why visual communication for this type of product also should be straight forward. You don’t need to look up closely to see what’s inside the box or what shape the certain type of band-aid is. You can see it from any side of the packaging. Also, the sound that people make when they get hurt is pretty much international, so, “Ouch!” naming and packaging design makes it easy for people from all over the world to understand product’s purpose without knowing English.
