The garden of vines is a project for a great wine of the city of Brantôme, a pretty French town located in the department of Dordogne in new Aquitaine. Périgord has the European IGP (Protected Geographical Indication) label. Note that the IGP label has replaced the VDP (Vin De Pays) label since 2009. In the middle of the lush Dronne and its bucolic landscape, nestles the village of Brantôme, built around its Abbey, a high monument of architectural heritage and French cleric. Embraced by its watercourse, in the shade of a cliff, the town is an island of stone in the heart of a green landscape. Périgord is a still white wine that can be produced in the vineyards of Bordeaux and the South-West, and more specifically in the wine regions of Entre-deux-mers and Bergerac. Administratively, white Périgord can be produced in the departments of Dordogne and Lot.
