Arpa Dried Fruits

Hello to all the viewers and readers. I am representing the new project that I have been working on for the recent few months.

Arpa is a small company that produces dried fruits, lemonade, sweet sujuk, etc. They are in the market for about six-seven years and they had no competitive packaging design for their dried fruits, although they are producing very high-quality products for the local Armenian market. They produce dried apple, dried peach, dried apricot, dried figs, dried persimmons, dried tomato, etc and all of these products should be visible on the store shelves.

After the contract has been signed, I started sketching. This was the situation when you clearly imagine what you should draw/design so I suggested only one concept, and I was sure that this is the best idea that can be generated in my mind regarding this project.

I suggested the first character holding apples. This was the girl character with just line drawing and I suggested having three main characters – a grandpa farmer and his two grandchildren – a young boy and a girl since this product aim to be the best family choice.

In total, producers had nine or ten products with two sizes each – small pouch packaging and big pouch packaging.

Dried fruit has been available for thousands of years in the Mediterranean and Middle East. Dates are one of the earliest dried fruits that were eaten.

Dried fruit is made by taking the water out of the fruit by sun drying or using a special machine called a dehydrator. Since the water is removed during drying, this also means that the natural sugars in the fruit are concentrated.

You can add some sweetness to your day by enjoying dried fruits. Popular dried fruits include raisins, dates, prunes (dried plums), figs, apricots and peaches. Fruits such as dried mango, pineapple and berries are also available, but these tend to be dried with added sugar.
