Art and wine elevate our senses. Two worlds that CINQUESSE unites by completing them.

CINQUESSE is a wine dedicated to the artist Maria Lai and her work which is nourished by the most ancient traditions of her remote native region to become universally symbolic.

CINQUESSE is a cycle of works that the artist creates throughout his career. The cycle represented on the label is a pictorial work with a nursery rhyme for the cultivation of the vine plant.

The idea of ​​producing a fine wine dedicated to the artist stems from the producer’s vocation to promote its land and the territorial and cultural excellence of the place, in the ancestral Sardinia which is universally known for its beauties and its millenary culture. CINQUESSE is the result of the collaboration between the JERZU Antichi Poderi cooperative winery, the Maria Lai Historical Archive and the Giulio Patrizi Agency studio which signs the packaging and communication project for this product.

The snug label reproposes the work of Maria Lai imprinted on paper with a tactile silk-screen that gives great materiality to the label. Using the QR Code on the label, it is possible to access an emotional video where the artist, still alive, recites the nursery rhyme.
