Caparrini

Lorenzo Caparrini inherited the daily custom of having his bitter aperitif from his grandfather, of Italian descent. But he ordered it with fino sherry wine and soda, compelled by the summer heat in El Puerto de Santa María, Spain. Over time, the tavernkeepers ended up calling this drink “a Caparrini”.
