Justice, Temperance, and Wisdom

For a class final project, I designed packaging and logos for three brands within a fictional logo family. Each design represents the brand’s teen-friendly skincare product with the goal of being novelty, youthful, and fun.

I was inspired by classic monsters for the logos and their relation to the name of the brand: a witch for justice (witches can create or deny justice), a sea monster for temperance (sea monsters can represent our hidden qualities and wants), and a vampire for wisdom (vampires are known for being knowledgeable after living for so many years). Each logo then relates to the product I designed: a witch’s acne patches for blemishes, a mud mask from a sea monster, and a vampire’s sunscreen. My intentions with my designs were to make skincare seem fun with their unique logos and bright, bubbly packaging.
