From the heartland of Rodeo, Cheyenne – Wyoming, USA, introducing The Wild Cayuse – Strong American Bourbon (Vol. Alc. 62%).

The company is recent but history tells that the owner’s grandfather used to own a saloon during the wild west named “The Wild Cayuse”

A “Cayuse” in the dictionary means a member of a once-nomadic Indigenous people of the northwestern U.S. located primarily in eastern Oregon and Washington. The Cayuse now exists as part of the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation in northeastern Oregon.

But the actual common meaning of “Cayuse” in Western dialect is a native range horse. Cayuse is mostly used for a stubborn, wild and untamed mustang.
