Leading up LIVON to step up to LIVON Professional through Design!

LIVON wanted to up its game in hair styling for the Indian consumers with its new range of hair serums and we were pretty kicked being the smooth operators on the project.
We had to take a step back and study Livon’s visual equity and analyse how a professional word could change the entire visual game. While the logo lock up would not be a departure from the original logo, we wanted to create a different, more premium visual language for the entire range that would embody the word professional thoroughly.

Nourishment and Shine are the two key propositions of the brand that has been a pioneer in hair styling category. We chose to highlight those with used of bold and clean design and varied finishes respectively. Each unique ingredient has been highlighted with its initial using bold typography and the 10X benefit is supported with a transparent drop visual for the product feel. Bright Pink has been an essential part of Livon’s glamorous identity, we expanded the palette with more striking and bold colours and glammed it up with a metallic silver for the Shine quotient.

The challenging part was to achieve the right colours and finishes both on the carton and the labels seamlessly. The combination of matt, gloss, metallic and solid colours has resulted is the sophisticated yet glamorous packaging language that truly defines brand’s intended shift to premium professional imagery for the evolved consumer.
