SITUATION

This year, we celebrate the 150th anniversary of the birth of M. K. Čiurlionis, one of Lithuania’s most renowned composers and painters. Inspired by Čiurlionis’s work and his small drafts, jazz and improvisational music masters Dmitrij Golovanov and Jan Maksimowicz have created music that serves as a continuation of Čiurlionis’s legacy, offering a new and fresh interpretation.

SOLUTION

The interpretation continues in the design. The gradient — a stretched painting fragment — becomes a new work and symbolises the continuation of Čiurlionis. Pixel by pixel, the gradient retains the main features, reflecting an unbroken connection. The hand-drawn bird is a symbol of a journey of creativity and thought. Golden lines subtly blend into the gradient, giving the composition a subtle and high-quality impression.
