Percol, a distinguished UK coffee brand rooted in sustainability, sought to make a bold entry into the Indian market. In a country where product-first thinking reigns, we recognized the need to adapt our packaging strategy to resonate with local consumers. At the same time, with the rise of India’s third wave coffee movement, we were determined to showcase Percol’s exceptional coffee experience — one that reflects both craftsmanship and sophistication.

Great coffee isn’t just a beverage — it’s a journey. The complex flavors of Percol invite consumers to pause, reflect, and appreciate the time, skill, and heritage behind each cup. This resonates deeply with connoisseurs of fine spirits, particularly those who indulge in the subtle nuances of single malts. To bridge the gap between coffee and the refined culture of whisky aficionados, we reimagined Percol’s packaging with the same prestige.

Inspired by whiskey labels, we integrated the story of origin and taste notes directly onto the front of the pack. Each variant was assigned a unique number, creating a distinct identity for every flavor profile. This design transformation ensures that Percol isn’t just another coffee on a shelf — it’s an experience to be celebrated.

Our ambition was clear: to position Percol not just as a daily cup of coffee but as a statement of refined taste. The packaging is designed to be flaunted, proudly displayed in living rooms, symbolizing the drinker’s sophisticated palate. With this packaging, Percol embodies a refined lifestyle, making it not only a coffee to enjoy but a badge of honor to wear.
