Dr.Stern Pharm – Apotek-Inspired Skincare Line

The packaging design for Dr.Stern Pharm, launched in 2016, is based on the core idea of pharmacy-grade aesthetics— clean, structured, and clinically trustworthy. Created for a dermocosmetic line sold exclusively in pharmacies, the visual language reflects principles of sterility, functionality, and clarity.

Key Concept:

The goal was to translate the look and logic of a pharmacy product into a shelf-ready cosmetic brand. Every design element reinforces this medical identity: from the restrained white background to the modular typography system and minimalistic illustrations indicating application zones.

Distinctive Features:

A sterile visual style reminiscent of clinical packaging, emphasizing safety and efficiency.

Highlighted active ingredients: Each formula’s core components are grouped and presented clearly, with the total number of active elements shown as a large numeral to support transparent communication and help consumers compare formulas.

Color-coded system: Each cream type is assigned a unique accent color, consistently applied to both the ingredient section and the cross icon within the Dr.Stern logo, building a strong visual identification system across the range.

Typography hierarchy: All information is structured into blocks to enhance readability, especially in pharmacy lighting and under quick-glance conditions.

Outcome:

Dr.Stern Pharm’s packaging creates a sense of trust, expertise, and purpose-driven care. The visual system not only serves functional needs but also builds lasting brand recognition. Its clear categorization, ingredient transparency, and pharma-like design language have helped establish the brand as a recognizable name on pharmacy shelves since 2016.
