Description:
This packaging design was created by Vladimir Shmoylov for Dr. Shtern, a professional haircare brand by Swiss Pharm. The product line includes 1000 ml shampoos and conditioners intended for use in salons and by haircare professionals.

The main concept behind the design is visual clarity and systematic product differentiation. Each formula is identified by a bold, custom abbreviation—consisting of three or four letters—based on the product’s key ingredients or intended effect (such as HHB, KCC, CEPP, 7POP). These abbreviations function as striking visual identifiers, serving as the central design element on each bottle.

To further distinguish between products, each abbreviation is paired with a unique color. For conditioners, a softer, desaturated version of the corresponding shampoo’s color is used. This subtle visual link helps build intuitive associations between related products while clearly signaling the difference in function.

The overall aesthetic emphasizes a clinical, pharmaceutical tone—reflecting the brand’s commitment to science-backed, high-performance formulas. The minimalist white bottle reinforces cleanliness and trust, while the vibrant typographic labels add a sense of modernity and functionality.

The labels also feature key information such as “SLS- and paraben-free” claims, ingredient highlights like hyaluronic acid, keratin, caviar extract, and Procapil™, reinforcing both transparency and performance. The design system allows for easy scalability and quick product recognition in busy professional environments.
