De Toren Private Cellar Illustrated by Steven Noble

Steven Noble was tasked with illustrating the De Toren Private Cellar wine label collection, South Africa’s highest rated wine, that includes “The Black Lion,” “Book XVII,” and “Patronus.” The Black Lion includes a portrait of a lion with a montage of different icons, the Book XVII includes an eagle, and the Patronas includes a rhino. Animals found and living in South Africa’s protected preserves. All the illustrations were handcrafted using scratchboard cutting knives carved into clayboard leaving the intricate line work.
