“Anche a te e famiglia” is a personal packaging design project dedicated to Christmas cookies, created to transform one of the most familiar holiday moments into a light-hearted and playful experience. The product consists of a selection of cookies decorated with witty responses to the classic questions relatives ask during Christmas lunches and dinners.
Concept
The idea comes from observing a common seasonal ritual: the intrusive questions that inevitably appear every year, from “When will you graduate?” to “So, do you have a partner?”. The project reframes these situations with humor, turning each cookie into a small messenger able to ease the moment and create a sense of shared complicity.
Design Solution
The packaging is conceived as a cohesive system of rigid boxes, inner wraps, inserts and a coordinated shopper. The graphic shapes are directly inspired by the silhouettes of the cookies themselves, becoming recurring visual elements across surfaces and patterns. A warm, slightly nostalgic color palette evokes the festive season, while clean layouts keep the humorous statements at center stage.
Technique and Materials
The project combines tactile textures, geometric patterns and finishes inspired by handcrafted goods. Photography and mockups were created to highlight surfaces, printing details and the visual character of the cookies, maintaining a contemporary and refined tone.
Uniqueness
The strength of the project lies in its ability to blend tradition, humor and visual identity. The packaging goes beyond its functional role, narrating a social situation many people recognize and turning it into a shared, memorable experience.
Result
“Anche a te e famiglia” offers a new way to experience the holiday season: packaging that brings a smile, engages the viewer and adds a touch of lightness to the most typical Christmas moments.
