This distilled spirit from China is named “Tian Yu Kong,” a phrase that evokes both the heavens and the void. In Chinese, the only difference between “Tian Yu Kong” and “Tiankong” (meaning “sky”) is the addition of the single character “yu” (“and”). Yet in meaning, the former carries a more poetic, romantic nuance—one that sets the brand apart from the more traditional baijiu found in the Chinese market.

To better reflect this distinctive character, the bottle features an asymmetrical, flowing silhouette. The base is carved with a series of inverted grooves, resembling rolling mountain ranges. A translucent whale motif is printed across the bottle body and above these “mountains,” creating a sweeping, majestic scene—as if a giant whale were soaring through the sky.
